Product 01 Surgical Simulator
Real input.
Simulated surgery.
A high-fidelity simulation platform for robotic surgery training. Surgeons operate through a glasses-free 3D console using a physical haptic input device, while interacting with simulated anatomy that responds dynamically to instrument movement and deformation.
Designed to bring the feel of robotic surgery into a controlled simulation environment, the system enables realistic hands-on training without the need for a surgical robot or patient.
- 01 Bottom left: Real input. Haptic feedback.
- 02 Left: A simulated robot in a virtual operating room.
- 03 Right: Dynamic tissue deformation under instrument interaction.
- A
Depth, without the glasses.
A glasses-free 3D display creates an immersive, stereoscopic view of the simulated procedure.
- B
Touch, translated.
Haptic feedback communicates simulated contact forces directly through the input device.
Hand.
Robot.
Tissue.
One action. Three perspectives.
01 Input
The surgeon moves.
02 Motion
The robot follows.
03 Interaction
The tissue responds.
What it is.
- Glasses-free 3D
- Depth perception without the glasses. The surgeon sees the simulated procedure in true stereoscopic 3D.
- Haptic feedback
- Feel the interaction. The hand controller delivers force feedback as the instrument contacts simulated tissue.
- A physical input device
- Train with your hands, not a mouse or touchscreen. The trainee operates through a dedicated physical controller.
- A simulated robot
- The robot, instruments, and operating environment are reproduced in software, responding to the trainee's movements.
- Dynamic tissue
- The tissue responds to the instrument. Deformation is simulated in real time as the procedure unfolds.
- No physical robot required
- The complete training environment runs in simulation, driven by the same physical inputs used to control the virtual system.
From simulation
to a real robot.
The Robotic Surgical Trainer brings simulation-trained skills into a physical surgical system, with a real robotic arm, instrument, and access port.
